EL CHOTA DE MIAMI PIERDE SU CASA POR FALTA DE PAGO

LOS ANGELES (AP) - El cubano José Canseco, el ex Jugador Más Valioso de la Liga Americana que ganó millones de dólares en su carrera de pelotero, perdió su casa por falta de pago.
Canseco dijo al programa de televisión "Inside Edition", que decidió renunciar a su casa, valuada en 2,5 millones de dólares en la zona suburbana de Encino, porque no le encontró sentido a seguir pagando la hipoteca.
"Tuve que tomar una decisión sobre mi casa y para mí es algo muy extraño, porque no tenía mucho sentido financiero que yo siguiera pagando la hipoteca de una casa que básicamente pertenecía a alguien más", expresó en una entrevista que fue trasmitida el jueves.
"Ustedes conocen mi vida en este tema financiero, es un asunto complicado. Obviamente, cuando uno gana todo ese dinero, la gente piensa 'bien, supongamos que tiene 35 millones de dólares'. La gente tiene que entender que de esos 35 millones, uno le paga el gobierno el 41%. Eso te deja como con 17 o 18 millones de dólares o menos, y es con eso con lo que tienes que hacerte cargo de toda tu familia", agregó.
